Cosmic Terroirs is a 6 track compilation made by artists from across the world, united in their love for good wine and local products.
From ambient to reggae, jazz to balearic, this compilation has been cooked by Hard Fist to offer a good wine tasting moment.

Compilation and bottle are opening with Shadi Khries music, Jordanian producer who made his solo debut with Hard Fist few years ago after his awesome project "King Ghazi" with Gilb'r. The musician delivers here a short but deep cinematic trip into the landscape of the wonderful desert of Wadi Rum. Slow percussion and beddouin flute are mixed with discreet 303 acid line for a perfect weeding between traditional organic instruments and machines.

The second track of the compilation is produced by Bab from the Parisian crew Pardonnez-Nous. Surfing in between dubby snare full of delay, atmospheric ambient synth and wonderful arabic arps and voices, "Wahum" leaks out the African’s roots of the artist and keeps you into the desert crossing. It's time to smell the wine, his spices and fruity notes.

The third track made by Italian producer nICo comes with the first swallow. It's time to try the wine and wake up your taste buds. Discovered by Untleys + Palmers records, nICo made his debut on Hard Fist with the nostalgic acid downtempo gems "From The Memory And The Ecstasy". Sublim analog sounds mixed with synthetic beats which unveil some respectful dubstep and trip hop influences.

The second "bouchée" reveals the black fruit aromes and some notes of tropical tree's bark. Kubebe's track "Ustou Reggae" is perfect to come with it. The French producer based in Lille shared here his love for reggae grooves and dub beats with a super downtempo and minimal riddim full of trippy percussion and large reverbs.

It's time to share and file up your friend's glasses. For his first feature on a label, the Jerusalem based producer Hipless teamed up with Dor Heled (NY) and Eyal Lovett (Berlin) to build an ephemeral electronic jazz live trio to close the compilation with "Ethiopia". Take off with this analog synth jazz jam flirting with house beats and electro funk bass.

Each sound is perfectly balanced, reserved, in order to keep the largest place possible for improvisation and groove.
Cosmic ? Exactly.
